Head first, heart
first, or feet first – intellectual, emotional,

the paradigm
shift: the rest follows. In whatever order, we aim
to shift towards mutual compassion, love, and a respect
for our connectedness, not just here on a website but
everywhere in the world.

The "hundredth
monkey effect" describes how macaques monkeys
on Koshima, a Japanese island, learnt to wash sweet
potatoes and how this behaviour then spread to surrounding
islands. Claims that it spread through a mysterious
phenomenon have been discredited. Instead, we see the
power of learned behavior and imitation.
